  1. Ahhh very cool topic for a website! Grammar is very important and many of us do need help to speak better english in a more proper way. Do you plan on helping with other languages as well? What would you suggest the best way to teach someone english who is new to the language?

  2. Hey this is great for mastery of English Grammar

I am taking an online course to help me to learn English and prepare me for one program. Every week I have to do some little practice your site was recommended to me by a friend.. I just wanna thank you for your effort to help in the learning of English.

    Regards!

  3. Thank you! This is very interesting, I didn’t know the answers to all of them. In the first one, I could tell that the grammar was off, but I did not know what to call the reason. I think the Blue Mountain is a clause, or none of the above. I am not too sure about the whole whom or who thing but that was on a TV show I saw recently. However, it was a comedy and it was supposed to be a joke that nobody on the show really knew.

about the weather forecast one, is it a trick question? None of them have punctuation. I know the answers to the last couple of them. Good job, you put the quiz together really well and it calls upon lots of different aspects of grammar mastery. Thank you for your expertise on grammar, have a great day!

  4. Very nice and so informative and helpful site! My English is still lacking but trying to improve it. I have been discussing the last days with my Finnish-Ghanian friends and they speaks English but its really weird. They don’t only have a funny accent but uses also some french words and some words or phrases are like a mix of french and english. I speak only fluently Finnish and Swedish. By the way, this quiz was really cool but didn’t gone good enough. However, thanks for sharing this!

  5. Hi Aaron! I thought I would get 2 or 3 points out of 10. My first language isn’t English. I started daily using English when I begun working as an affiliate marketer. And that was just about 3 years ago. When I realized that I had to constantly produce content, I almost gave up. But I have continued working at it and at least have made it sustainable.

Taking your test today has really surprised me. It shows that I must have progressed in some way. I got 7 out of 10! 🙂

Thank you! I’ll bookmark and follow your site!

    • Thanks for your comment Henry.  I will extend the quiz when I have more time.  I intend to include questions about gender and countable/uncountable.
